Are Your Adrenal Glands Giving You This Problem?

Low energy, too often feeling sick and tired. I have outlined many reasons for such things in one of my articles some time ago. This time I’m looking at this from a different angle, low energy, tiredness and feeling sick.

This situation often arises; what is normal for one, be abnormal for someone else. This could be the other angle, one of the reasons you’re too often sick and tired. What can make healthy people feel sick and tired? Just feeling drained of energy but can’t put your finger on the reason? There are many unexpected reasons that your energy levels are low. It not necessary be poor nutrition, lack of sleep, nothing to do with aging process. It’s not your heart or even your thyroid.

What all of this could be caused by are your “ADRENAL” glands. The adrenals are two extremely important walnut size glands that manufacture over fifty different hormones. These two little glands, that sit on top of your kidneys, play a role in stamina, energy, mental clarity, immune function, sex drive, and the list goes on.

It is a condition where the adrenal glands do not produce any of the adrenal hormones which control functions such as blood pressure. Adrenal fatigue and other symptoms are the reason when the adrenal gland is not working properly. When people are under mental, emotional or physical stress, this is not always pain related. Although, if some of the hormones are suppressed for a long time this can cause lower back pain.

For women, such as cortisol, one of the hormones made by the adrenal glands can play a role in irregular menstrual periods and as well can bring on early menopause. When it comes to hormones, they can affect every organ and tissue in the body in one way or another.

As in many cases, diet is a huge factor in this. The first thing is to remove any hard to digest foods and any toxins and chemicals, all sugars, high fructose, corn syrup, artificial sweeteners. Use honey or stevia as sweeteners. Avoid all hydrogenated oils: Corn, canola, vegetable oil and soybean; these oils are highly inflammatory. Use only olive oil, coconut oil, macadamia oil and organic butter; these are the good fats.

All cruciferous vegetables, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower. As for food with good fats: Fish, wild caught salmon, chicken, turkey, nuts, almonds, walnuts etc. As for salt: Use only natural, unprocessed Himalayan, rock or sea salt. As well keep your vitamin intake up or increase mineral and herbal supplements. This will make an enormous difference in treating to overcome adrenal insufficiency and fatigue. Such foods are nutrient- dense, have healthy fats, fiber and are low on sugar.
